What's this Insane Racing all about then?
Insane Racing is (imho) the best off road racing game ever written. It was first released by Codemasters in around 2000 and the game features realistic vehicle physics with all wheel independant suspension, 2, 4, 6 or 8 wheel drive, manual or automatic diff lock and realistic damage which affects handling and vehicle body deformation.
Various game modes are available: Off Road Race, Destruction Zone, CTF, RTF, Pathfinder, Gatehunt, and Free Roam.
Online Multiplayer support for up to 8 players (currently via GameSpy).
Dedicated online community with hundreds of addon maps, vehicles and utilitites.

OK so the games getting on a bit now but it great fun to play and it can be modded to death! hence the reason for this website. I have written numerous programs to aid modding the game in the hope that it will a) make it easier to create new content and b) keep the game fresh and interesting and hopefully attract new players especially as the game is FREE!!!!!
About Me
So, if you're really interested here's a bit of info about me:
I was born on 5th March 1969 and live in South Yorkshire, England. I am the Insurance Supervisor for a local branch of Age Concern.
I have been with my Wife, Sheena, since 1991 and we finally decided to tie the knot and got married at Niagra falls on the 22nd September 2004.
We have a cat who just turned up one day and seems to now have adopted us, and has been living with us for about a year now. She is called Mouse Breath, or MB for short, as it wasn't long after she arrived that she left us a little mouse shaped gift at the front door and the name just seemed to fit.
I like the usual things:
Drinking - vodka mainly but also Whiskey in small dosses. some beers, but after about 4 pints I just feel like my body can't hold any more liquid which is odd because I can drink Vodka and Coke until it comes out of my ears.
Music - Eels, SOAD, Counting Crows, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Lost Prophets, Primus, Vai, Satriani and the likes.
Gaming - mainly FPS and Driving games, eg Rainbow Six (Vegas, Lockdown etc), Half life, Toca RD, Flatout 2, Insane Racing (obviously!)
I also play guitar (badly) and was in a band in my younger days.
When I left School I went to college for 3 years to study IT and computer programming and have always been interested in computers and programming and continue this as a hoby.
